Interwoven Forms

is based on photographs of Icelandic nature, bringing its colours, forms and textures into close view. Fragments of nature are taken out of their original context, collected and rearranged into a new abstract landscape. Each fragment holds its own texture and memory, while together they form a new whole in which human choice and rearrangement become part of the work. The harmony between the fragments becomes a quiet reminder of the value of preserving and paying attention to nature.
